 Study Groups
Adequate time will be allocated for study group meetings.

 Who Should Attend?
This symposium is intended for physicians, nurses, dentists, oral surgeons, dental hygienists, pharmacists, psychologists, social workers, nutritionists, and other health care providers involved with the care of cancer patients.

 Accreditation
For the convenience of participants, Continuing Medical Education will be provided for: Physicians, Nurses, and other health care professionals as approved.

 Satellite Symposia and Exhibits
Corporate support is a longstanding and valuable part of the MASCC/ISOO Annual Symposium’s growth into what is today one of the largest annual meetings on supportive care issues.  Young Investigator Awards 
Awards for outstanding abstracts submitted by “Young Investigators” will be announced at the 18th International Symposium, Supportive Care in Cancer in Toronto, Canada. Candidates can be of any profession and from any country.

Criteria Includes:
• Must be age 40 years or younger
• In training or in practice for 2 years or less
• Abstract ranked in the top 20% of all accepted abstracts


 Call for Abstracts 
 

Abstract deadline is Feb 25, 2006.
Information on submitting an abstract is coming soon.  All abstracts must be submittes online.

 Scholarships for Attendance  
A limited number of Travel Scholarships will be awarded to applicants from developing countries who meet identified criteria at the discretion of the organizing committee to attend the 18th International Symposium.
