ASCO's B. J. Kennedy Award for Scientific Excellence in Geriatric Oncology goes to MASCC member Matti Aapro. The B. J. Kennedy Award for Scientific Excellence in Geriatric Oncology honors individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership or contributed scientific work—laboratory, clinical, or epidemiologic—of major importance to the field of geriatric oncology.

Distinguished Service Award

The MASCC Distinguished Service Award recognizes meritorious service and outstanding contribution to the society and its mission. Winners are nominated by peers and should demonstrate exemplary leadership and accomplishments in supporting the society’s mission. This award is reserved for those with the highest levels of support to the society and unparalleled contributions to the society’s mission and is presented at the annual MASCC Symposium.
