    The Bone and Cancer Foundation is an important new information and education resource for patients, their physicians, and others concerned with the care and treatment of cancer that spreads to the bone. BCF provides information through print publications, which are free of charge and the BCF website.

    CancerCare is dedicated to helping people face the many challenges of a cancer diagnosis. As the largest national non-profit organization of its kind, CancerCare provides free professional support services including counseling, education, financial assistance and practical help to people across the country. Since our inception in 1944, CancerCare has offered help and hope to more than two million people with cancer, their family members and friends, as well as healthcare professionals.     The aim of "Guide to Internet Resources for Cancer" is to make it easier to find more specific information quickly. This is achieved by providing an directory of some of the key cancer-related sites and pages. Links are sorted into categories (by disease-type, medical speciality country etc.), and where possible annotation is provided to give the reader a brief description of each site / organisation. The site aims to draw the readers attention to issues about cancer-related information on the Internet, especially those relating to the quality of information.
    European LeukemiNet (ELN)
    ELN Website is focused on information related to Leukemias, Diagnostics, and Treatment Reseach. There is a wealth or relevant information that may be of interest. The attached link is to the Treatment Research area that includes a Supportive Care category. This site includes information on relevant research and currently includes information regarding the development of European Guidelines for the Prophylaxis and Treatment of Infections in Patients with Leukemia.

    Mouth Cancer Foundation (MCF)
    Initiated by the Restorative Dentistry Oncology Clinic in 2002, the Mouth Cancer Foundation (MCF) web site aims to help patients, carers and health professionals find free information on mouth, throat and other head & neck cancers easily. It provides direct links to the relevant sections of existing cancer sites and includes patient experiences as well as an online support group.
    National Cancer Institute (NCI)
    NCI has launched a new portal on its website:  Science Serving People
    We encourage you to bookmark this important new site.  It will be updated often, and provides the tools the public and advocates have asked for to effectively communicate about NCI and the impact of cancer research in the U.S.
    Oncology Special Edition (ONCSE)
    Oncology Special Edition (ONCSE) is an annual reference guide consisting of practical treatment guidelines for a variety of tumor types, hematologic malignancies and supportive care issues. ONCSE publishes each April just before the ONS and ASCO meetings, and reaches every US-based oncologist as well as hematology oncologists, oncology pharmacists and oncology nursing supervisors for a full audience of 16,705 oncology professionals.

    Association of Oncology Social Work (AOSW)
    AOSW and its members are dedicated to increasing awareness about the social, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of cancer patients through research, writing, presenting workshops and lectures. As an organization we are involved in collaborating with other patient advocacy groups, national and international oncology organizations with the primary focus access and quality care for cancer patients.

    Hellenic Association of Supportive Care of the Oral Cavity in Cancer (HASCOCC)HASCOCC is a non-profit scientific Greek organization founded in 2005. The members are dentists, oncologists of various fields and other health care providers. The scope of the Association is the promotion of supportive care of the oral cavity in patients with cancer, who undergo cancer therapy and the promotion of the concept of oral health- related quality of life in oncology.     European Oncology Nursing Society-(EONS)
    EONS is dedicated to developing, enhancing and promoting cancer nursing in Europe through educational, research, and practice based initiatives. We are comprised of individual cancer nurses, national oncology nursing societies and institutions and agencies in Europe involved in cancer care. EONS has a membership of over 50 organisations, which in turn represent approximately 15000 nurses in 25 European countries.

    International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC)
    The International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care (IAHPC) is an organization dedicated to the development and the improvement of palliative care worldwide. We promote the relief of unnecessary pain and suffering by advocating availability of adequate treatment, including access to potent analgesics and the inclusion of palliative care in the public health agenda. IAHPC works with existing associations and agencies as well as individuals, to improve communications and access to resources and foster opportunities in education and training around the globe.
    International Academy of Oral Oncology (IAOO) 
    The International Academy of Oral Oncology (IAOO) was established in 2005, and draws together for the first time formally, clinicians and scientists worldwide, working on issues relating to the etiopathogenesis, epidemiology, prevention and management of oral and perioral tumors and of oral disease in patients with malignancies. IAOO consists of a wide range of clinicians and scientists worldwide, leaders in their fields, who have united to establish the Academy.
    International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW)
    The International Federation of Social Workers(IFSW) is a global organization dedicated to the enhancement of the social work profession through international collaboration with an emphasis to the profession’s values, standards, ethics and scientific knowledge. Created in 1956, IFSW has more than 450.000 members from 77 countries. IFSW has been successful in fostering communication and support among social workers of all countries.     International Psycho-Oncology Society [IPOS]
    Founded in 1984, the International Psycho-Oncology Society (IPOS) was created to foster international multidisciplinary communication about clinical, educational and research issues that relate to the subspecialty of psycho-oncology and two primary psychosocial dimensions of cancer:  1) Response of patients, families and staff to cancer and its treatment at all stages; 2) Psychological, social and behavioral factors that influence tumor progression and survival.
    International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG)
    The purpose of SIOG is to advance the art, science and practice of oncology in elderly patients and to disseminate knowledge in order to maintain a high common standard of healthcare in elderly cancer patients.
    International Society of Nursing in Cancer Care (ISNCC)
    ISNCC is the international voice of oncology nursing improving standards of cancer care through the provision of education, research and training using international expertise. The society fosters international networking and interaction amongst cancer nursing groups and individuals.
    International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners (ISOPP)
    ISOPP members share a common interest: providing optimal drug therapy to cancer patients. They are pharmacists practicing in a variety of settings, who provide clinical pharmacy and/or cytotoxic preparation services for cancer patients.
    International Union Against Cancer (UICC)
    As the world's largest independent, non-profit, non-governmental association of cancer-fighting organizations, UICC is a catalyst for responsible dialogue and collective action. UICC brings together a wide range of organizations, including voluntary cancer societies, research and  treatment centers, public health authorities, patient support networks and advocacy groups.
