Featured Liaison OrganizationKEHPCA
The mission of the Kenya Hospice and Palliative Care Association (KEHPCA) is to promote and support acceptable, accessible and affordable quality palliative care through out Kenya. The Nairobi Hospice, the first hospice in Kenya, was established in 1990. The birth of other hospices and palliative care centers/teams was as a result of the Nairobi Hospice training and advocacy initiatives.  They took the lead in the founding of KEHPCA in 2002.  Currently there are 12 hospices and palliative care programs in Kenya that are under the umbrella of the Association. A number of key leaders in the various programs are also MASCC members.  Dr. Zippy Ali, who serves on the MASCC Professional Liaison committee, is the National Coordinator of the Association.
