E-Poster Presentations 

Presentation Time: 5 minutes
Presentation Media: Single-page PDF e-poster

Abstracts selected for E-Poster Presentations will present their abstract in the Exhibition Hall - Metropolitan Centre, Conference Centre, 2nd Floor.

As of April 5, all e-poster presenters were notified of their e-poster date, session time, and topic. You will be notified by email with your assigned e-poster date, 5-minute time slot, and e-poster stage number. There will be six e-poster stages in the Exhibition Hall. 

Please ensure that you have complete the following tasks:
  • All accepted abstracts must have one (1) co-author registered by the Early Bird Deadline April 20, 2022 to be included in the Scientific Program and published in the journal Supportive Care in Cancer.
  • Any changes to presenting authors must be made by the Early Bird Deadline April 20, 2022. Changes can be sent to [email protected]
  • All presenting authors (in-person or virtual) must register to attend the MASCC/ISOO 2022 Annual Meeting by June 8, 2022 to have their e-poster included in the e-poster sessions and on the virtual meeting platform. We suggest registering by the Early Bird Deadline of April 20, 2022 to take advantage of the discounted registration fees. Note: An individual may be a presenting author on a maximum of two (2) abstracts. Register Here
  • Complete the Speaker Survey here - You may have completed this during the abstract submission process.
  • Review the Speaker Guidelines here - All speakers must follow these guidelines for compliance purposes.
  • Prepare your E-Poster following the guidelines below: 

DEADLINE FOR E-POSTER SUBMISSION:
June 8, 2022. If the presenting author has not registered by this date, the e-poster will be removed.

    • You will be sent an email in mid-April by our e-poster partners SIMUL with your login details to create and upload your e-poster presentation. Please login here using the details sent to you by email to upload your e-poster. If you have more than one e-poster, then you will find them all after logging in.
    • You can find various templates here, but the use is not mandatory
    • All e-posters should be prepared in ENGLISH
    • All e-posters should only be one page
    • Layout: LANDSCAPE (horizontal orientation) - This will make for more suitable viewing for the virtual delegates.
    • Poster Size:
      • Pixels: Minimum recommended size (format W x H) is 2000 x 1125px.
      • In inches/cm: 18”/45.72cm height and 32”/81.28cm width
      • Format: 16:9
      • DPI 300 pixels/inch
    • File Size: Maximum file size without the video is 5MB, including the video is 40MB
    • File Format: .PDF
    • Media: Images/photos, graphs and tables can be included in the e-poster
    • Hospital or institution logos are permitted
    • Pharmaceutical or corporate commercial logos are not permitted
    • Multimedia: 5-minute e-poster presentation video or audio files can be included with the e-poster. (In order to embed movies inside PDF please use Adobe Acrobat Pro and only mp4 files are accepted encoded with h264 codec)
    • Maximum 1 video or audio file per e-poster
    • If you are preparing a video or audio file, please refer to the Best Practices for Remote Speakers (E-Posters) here.

If you are attending virtually, you will have the option to upload a 5-minute self-recorded video or audio files with your e-poster. 

If you are attending in-person, please be at your assigned e-poster stage 15 minutes prior to your scheduled presentation time. You may also wish to include a 5-minute self-recorded video with your e-poster for our virtual delegates to view.

Oral Proffered Papers

Presentation Time: 10 minutes 
Presentation Media: PowerPoint slides
Abstracts selected as Oral Proffered Papers will be presented during a parallel session in the Scientific Program.
As of April 5, notifications were sent by email with your assigned session and presentation time. You may also consult the Scientific Program to find your scheduled date and time.

Please ensure that you complete the following tasks:
  • All accepted abstracts must have one (1) co-author registered by the Early Bird Deadline April 20, 2022 to be included in the Scientific Program and published in the journal Supportive Care in Cancer.
  • Any changes to presenting authors must be made by the Early Bird Deadline April 20, 2022. Changes can be sent to [email protected]

If you are attending virtually, (i.e. confirmed by way of your registration type), we will send an email to you outlining your next steps to record your presentation. We will begin sending these emails in mid-April. Make sure to arrange your recording appointment with Soliman Productions or submitted your self-recorded presentation by May 13, 2022. Please refer to the email sent to you about recording virtually and make any appointment using the calendly link included in the email. Please refer to the Best Practices for Remote Speakers (Oral Proffered Papers) here.
Note: Most virtual presenters will not include participation in a Live Q&A virtually.  If this is available for your presentation, we will contact you directly to arrange this closer to the live meeting dates. Only those which have been assigned to the Frontenac Room on the Scientific Program have this option.

If you are attending in-person, please bring your PowerPoint presentation slides to the Speaker Ready Room (Wellington Room, Conference Centre, 1st Floor) in advance of your sessions (minimum of 2 hours prior).

  • Wednesday, June 22 3pm-8pm
  • Thursday June 23 7am-5pm
  • Friday June 24 7am-5pm
  • Saturday June 25 7am-2pm
Invited Speakers
