Employment:  Full time Faculty Position  Rochester, MN

Faculty Position (full time) at the Mayo Clinic in the Division of Biomedical Statistics & Informatics in the Department of Health Sciences Research.

Candidates should have a PhD in statistics or a related field. Between 3-5 years of experience working in the area of patient reported outcomes, clinical trials focused on symptom intervention and cancer control, and health outcomes research is desirable.

A successful candidate must possess:

  • A sound understanding of the basic principles of clinical trial design and analysis, patient reported outcomes and health outcomes research
  • An ability to assimilate relevant information and initiate new areas of research particularly in the areas of clinical trial design, quality of life methods, and health outcomes research
  • An ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and clinicians
  • Leadership skills with the ability to give scientific direction to a team of statisticians. Flexibility, creativity and excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
