Joining MASCC Study GroupsBenefits of Joining a Study Group Through Study Group membership, you become an integral part of a worldwide network of supportive care specialists. Study Group membership provides opportunities to do any or all of the following:
Study Group Policy, Leadership Roles and Responsibilities Outstanding Study Group and Study Group Leader Awards The Outstanding Study Group Award recognizes a Study Group’s excellence and outstanding achievement in promoting, activating, and executing activity within the SG. The Outstanding Study Group Leader Award recognizes the principal driver of the main project that led to the Study Group’s recognition and award. See the Study Group Award Policy for eligibility criteria and selection process. How to Join a Study Group Every MASCC member is eligible to join up to three Study Groups. Study Group membership can be initiated or changed at any time. Just visit your member Profile by clicking on Member Login or “My Account,” under Membership. Click “Edit Profile” to make changes. Here, you can change your username, password, address, email, phone, and select, review and change your Study Group memberships. To Select or Change Your Study Groups Go to “My Account” under membership and then “Edit My Profile.” Select up to three Study Groups you are interested in. Study Group Communication Study Group Chairs and Vice-Chairs communicate with members via email using information from your account profile. Thus, it is important to be sure your profile contains your current email address. You will only receive communication from Chairs or Vice-Chairs, not replies from other members. Study Group Leadership MASCC Study Group Leadership Be a MASCC Leader - Want to Chair or Vice-Chair a Study Group? Study Group Workshops Each year, several in-depth workshops, provided by one or more study groups, are presented at the MASCC/ISOO Annual Meeting. These well-attended workshops provide opportunities for participants to hear about the latest research, to share their own experience, and to meet colleagues with similar interests. Questions?
