New Study Group Subgroups: Cancer Pain and Immuno-Oncology

April 2019
MASCC’s Executive Committee has recently approved the formation of two new special-topic subgroups within existing Study Groups — a Subgroup on Cancer Pain within the Palliative Care Study Group and a Subgroup on Immuno-Oncology within the Neutropenia, Infection, and Myelosuppression Study Group. A Subgroup can be formed when ten or more Study Group members wish to actively pursue a topic not adequately addressed by that, or any other, Study Group. Establishing a Subgroup requires an application that documents the need for a new Subgroup and identifies future projects or areas of investigation. The application is available on our Policies and Forms page of our website.
