The 2019 MASCC/ISOO Annual Meeting in San Francisco, June 21-23, offers numerous opportunities for networking with like-minded colleagues, including a Welcome Reception and Awards Ceremony, a New Members Breakfast, and the President’s Dinner and Dance.

 
New MASCC Subgroup - Immuno-Oncology

A new MASCC Subgroup on Immuno-Oncology (IO), led by Bernardo Rapoport and Mario Lacouture, has been formed by MASCC’s Study Group on Neutropenia, Infection, and Myelosuppression.

 
NICSO-A New MASCC Affiliate

In March 2019, MASCC signed an affiliation agreement with the Network Italiano Cure di Supporto in Oncologia (NICSO), the Italian network of supportive care in oncology. 

 
AFSOS- A New MASCC Affiliate

In March 2019, MASCC signed an affiliation agreement with the Association Francophone des Soins Oncologiques de Support (AFSOS), the French-speaking association for supportive care in in oncology. 

 
MASCC Affiliates in Supportive Care

The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) has established an Affiliates program to partner with supportive cancer care organizations around the world in order to promote supportive care at the local level and to create a global network allowing for international collaboration and improved support for people with cancer. 

 
MASCC Society News April 2019

In the April 2019 issue, MASCC President Raj Lalla announces a new MASCC affiliation with NICSO, the Network Italiano Cure di Supporto in Oncologia. We’re pleased to announce that MASCC Past-President Dorothy Keefe has been named CEO of Cancer Australia. MASCC now has two new Study Group Subgroups — on Cancer Pain and Immuno-Oncology. We bring you more highlights of the 2019 Annual Meeting and upcoming conference news. We extend a warm welcome to all the new members who joined us in February.

 
Supportive Care Meeting in Bologna, Italy, May 13-14

Italy’s National Academy of Medicine and the Italian Network Support Care in Oncology (NICSO) will hold its 4th conference on supportive care in oncology, May 13-14, in Bologna, Italy.
